Wheaton Engineering Magnet vs Blair Science Magnet

Hi All,
Just heard about Wheaton High School Engineering Magnet Program, wondering how it compares with Blair Science and Math Magnet Program. Any experiences with the Wheaton program? |

In all honesty, I don't know anything about the Wheaton program.
I do know the Blair program was one of the original magnet programs and has always had an outstanding reputation. It has been around for more than 20 years. When I was at UMD College Park, students were coming out of Blair skipping the first two years of the Engineering program at College Park. They were vastly better prepared than the typical Engineering student. Blair also has a geographical advantage of being closer to the College Park campus so in year's past there has been some collaboration between the two. |
