Class suggestions for a hyperactive toddler

Anonymous
My 30 months old is very hyperactive and he seems to be unable to concentrate on any task.
What classes would be suitable for him, or what can we do to help?
Sometimes feel like he may have sensory issues; doesn't like to play with sand, paint etc.

Any type of Little Gym/My Gym or parks and Rec type tumbling class. My first was very active. Always on the go and we loved Little Gym. I'm going to sign my 20 month old son up soon just to give him more opportunity to burn of some energy because he's full of it and gets destructive when he gets going.

My son is exactly like that! He is now 2.5 and I registered him for soccer class and that at least that made him tired and seemed to calm him down. Once I saw that, I registered for another class during the week, so we go on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
I'm also planning to sign him up for ice skating lessons once he turns 3. If he likes it, I hope this will have the same effect as soccer. For the sensory issues, I would just encourage any manual work like clay, squishing glue out etc.
Oh, we take soccer with tots soccer lessons with Kids Pro soccer, and planning on ice skating with Kettler ice skating ring as we are in Arlington. Good luck!

I think that maybe low key music class would be good.

Forget classes, get him outside and moving. Take him to the park every day. Ideally find a time and a park where there's a consistent group that shows up at the same time. Let him run, and jump, and climb, all of which will help him regulate and learn to modulate his energy level. Let him make friends in the context of doing what works for him.
