[b]BASIS DC Public Charter School: Currently Enrolling Grade 5 for 2013-2014 School Year
BASIS DC, a public charter school, offers an accelerated liberal arts curriculum which is among the most reliable and rigorous in the country. BASIS DC believes that every child deserves the opportunity to learn at an internationally competitive level. For that reason, BASIS DC is an open enrollment school which does not require an entrance examination and does not charge tuition. Any DC student can attend if there is space available. BASIS DC is currently enrolling students for Grade 5 for the 2013-2014 school year. The school is located in Penn Quarter, the heart of the city, easily accessible from all Metro lines and several Metro bus lines.
