Anyone know much about Polyps?

I had three removed and am wondering if anyone here has had this and knows if after removal what the chances of a successful pregnancy are. Does it do any lasting damage to have had these? Is fertility returned to "normal" (normal in the sense of what it would have been without having had them) after removal? Anything else anyone can share would be great.

I just had one removed. From what I read they are common in older women. Don't seem to have long-term effects. No one really knows for sure what causes them but I actually wonder if they may be a response to fertility medications. I know several women who got them during fertility treatment and they are also associated with hormone-replacement therapy, which seems to be similar to some ART drug protocols. So???? It's just a hunch. Anyway, the doc who did my removal didn't seem to think there would be much of an issue. I guess it would depend on what procedure you had. Mine was just a D&C. OP, what procedure did you have?

I had one the 2 cycles after a clomid IUI. It went away but it took a few cycles with regular acupuncture.

OP here. Thanks all! I'm not sure what procedure it was I think a hysteroscopy. Not much fun. Lets hope they don't come back!
