They kinda played to an OT game
Looks like Stone Bridge is the now the clear favorite to win the ring in 5A.

I dont know about clear favorite. I would assume co=favorite with Riverside. The played to an OT game and won on an ugly goal.
But yea, either of those two

Madison doubled them up. And all games are tied until one team has more goals?

OK, it went McLean (2nd), Langley (3rd), WL (4th). I predict Yorktown, no surprise to anyone, will win Liberty District title again over Langley.

Anyone have 6a district brackets?

Solid 4th quarter for the Warhawks to pull away. good showing from the cougs through the first three quarters, but couldn’t keep it going when it mattered most

Lightridge dads have disappeared from the thread. Disappointing season it appears.

Can someone explain how the post season VHSL works? Do all the teams play in the post season? Is it single elimination? Where can I go to see the schedule/bracket?

Don’t worry yourself- it’s not very good lacrosse- even for post season. A bunch of average high school teams playing less than lacrosse.

It ain't great. That's for sure. Big drop off from just 3 or 4 years ago right out of Covid at least.

They need to implement the shot clock.

Agree. No shot clock is painful.

Nah. Impressive season foe this team. They will make some noise come playoffs.

Lightridge's only quality wins were over Freedom and O'Connell, both by 1 goal. Beating Liberty, Kettle Run, Thomas Jefferson,Brentsville, Heritage was to ensure a winning season and pad stats.

They have some very talented offensive players, no doubt, but they choose to play terrible teams for a reason.

Stonebridge blew them out at Home. Let's see how they do against Riverside next week.
