I've been taking pre-natal vitamins, as well as cod-liver oil pills to supplement Omega-3 intake. Although my doctor did not say to stop, she did say that too much Vitamin A and Vitamin D has been linked to birth defects. The cod liver oil pills have Vitamins A and D in them, which just adds to what is in the pre-natal vitamin. I was thinking about switching to flaxseed oil, but have been reading about the effects that has on estrogen levels and the potential of miscarriage. Anyone have any recommendations while I wait for my doctor to get back to me on what she recommends? Thanks
