Do you know the backstory? Senator Cruz in one of his McCarthyite smears accused Harvard of having Communists on the faculty. Just pulled that one out of his ass. I don't think think I would have written this piece (and i didn't go to Harvard) but I don't get your point.

Thanks OP, I had no idea that Cruz, O'Reilly and their ilk thought poorly of some of our finest institutions of higher education. What are they going to do, though, when our finest universities disagree vehemently with Tea Party positions, and when Harvard and others can show actual economic data and analysis on their side. Looks like off-hand smears, unsupported by any analysis, are the only recourse open to Cruz and O'Reilly.
