I'm seeing a lot of "ankle-length" pants in stores.
I have several pairs of slim-fit jeans and pants that I no longer wear because they've shrunk in length and I consider them high-waters. Does this mean I can wear them? I'm scared. |

Looking like you know what you're doing. |
It depends on your style and your shoes. Wearing with trendy shoes, jewelry=good. Wearing with white sneakers and socks and a t-shirt=bad. You must also be thin which I'm guessing you are because you already have slim-fit jeans. |
Ankle length usually taper to the ankle, and often have a slit. So they look intentionally ankle length. |
