Uppababy Vista vs. City Mini?

Besides the price difference, why should I look into the Vista vs. the City Mini?
Thanks.

I think the Vista has a smaller footprint, but I have been incredibly happy with the city mini, and feel like it could accommodate a larger child.

Vista is actually much bigger and heavier than the City Mini I think. I have the Cruz, which is a little lighter than the Vista, and despite the advantage of the large basket, I wish I'd bought a City Mini or a Britax B Agile instead.

Love our city mini GT - folds so easily with a small footprint. We don't use an umbrella stroller because this one travels so well with us.

I sold our city mini and bought the uppa baby vista, and am - for the most part - happier with it. A few reasons why... My son spit up constantly until he was 10 months old and with our mini, I really found it frustrating to stop, look, wipe constantly; uppa baby seat can face backward or forward, which made it much easier. I walk almost everywhere, and the uppa baby basket is huge -- great for grocery runs, etc. The mini does have a smoother ride, however, whereas the uppa baby is pretty bumpy.

I did exactly the opposite. Hated having a giant stroller and have been happy with the mini.

I'd check them out in the store. Put some weight in them and see how well they maneuver one handed. I have the vista and wow-it is so easy to get it around even with a 35 lb toddler on board. Much better than our bob or mclauren.

LOVE vista but no way could I deal with the weight of that monster! We went with city mini and love it.
They are both great strollers. I will say I love vista more again. But part of the equation for me anyway is practicality. As for smoothness of ride - my kid truly just has to deal. Neither are terrible rides. They're in a stroller and not walking - it's a good deal either way. LOL

Vista. Best sunshade. If you live in the city and don't drive much, the basket is essential for things like grocery shopping.

Love the Vista. Bought it primarily for the basket, bassinet, and ability to rear and forward face. Sunshade is also a huge bonus.

Lots of friends have the citi mini and are happy with it. Here's why I like the Vista better: 1) huge basket. great for walking to the farmers market, going shopping, or to the grocery store. in the beggining, I had the carseat attachment and could get a lot of groceries in there without needing a cart. Along with this, I had no problems using it as a my "snap and go". I had a very good friend with a baby at the same time who had the citimini with that attachment - I always had my son and stroller in teh car faster than she did. I have a big trunk, so for a smaller car this wouldn't work. And yes, it's heavy, but lifting it in and out isn't hard. 2) sunshade. we do a ton of walking and it's great. 3) bassinet. Again, lots of walking and this was great when DS was a baby. 4) ability to rear or forward face is really nice. 5) Handling. The stroller handles great. 6) Ability to add the extra seat and/stand when you have a second kid.

Why would you recommend the City Mini over the Cruz, having owned the Cruz?
Thank you

Vista is a good solid stroller, but it is HEAVY and there is no one handed opening and closing. If you want easy -- go for the city mini.

Decide what you need it for... I have the vista and b-agile. The b-agile is the same stroller as the city mini, super light, easy fold, small, and easy to snap car seat into. (fwi, you can buy a britax adapter for your mini for 19.99!) I love love the seat on the vista!!! 5 stars! It's great! You can switch the way the baby faces you, the recline of the seat, the sun shade all awesome. But, it is a giant stroller. With the vista, you can a very smooth ride. Great for bumpy sidewalks...you baby will have a smooth ride! So, you need to decide what you need the stroller for: the mall?, walks in the city?, grocery shopping?, will this stroller live in the garage, or in and out of your car? Go test them all out, Great Begginings! While your there, try the cruz ( I have heard it' great too!) and the city mini versa ( similiar to the vista but, you don't get a bassinet and it's a few 100 cheaper) Keep your eye on craigs list, I've seen a few vista's!! Goodluck!
Utube, has a few comparison video for you to check out..

Vista and City Mini aren't really comparable strollers. Vista and City Select are much more similar.

Have the City Mini GT. If you are using the City Mini with an infant (at least an infant at the spitting up constantly phase), you are likely going to use the carseat adaptor, which has the baby facing you.
