Ok DCUM, it's been years and we need some new food storage containers. We'd prefer glass since DH doesn't like plastic in the dishwasher and with two kids and two FT jobs, we're getting lazy and want to do less hand-washing. Any recommendations would be great. Our previous set of plastic tupperware has been great and has lasted about 10 years, but the tops are cracking and we think we're due an upgrade. (not bad, huh? may this decision be my biggest problem today!).
thanks! |

We got rid of all of our plastic tupperware and now use only Glasslock Snapware. We bought 2 sets from Costco and they are great. Also use a ton of different sizes of mason jars for food storage. For packing lunches, we use Lunchbots stainless steel bento boxes.
For all of our glass and stainless containers, we wash them in the dishwasher but wash all plastic tops by hand. |

Tupperware is a brand name btw.
I prefer Lock-n-Lock. I tried Snapware but it wasn't the same quality |
+1 for Lock n Lock. |
| We have Anchor Hocking TrueSeal. They're glass with rubber lids and you can get them from Sur la table, Target, Amazon, etc. I've had my set for 6 years and we've dropped them without breaking (knock on wood). |
| I like Klip-It at the container store |
| PP here. Sistema makes the Klip-It brand. All of the company's products are BPA-free. |
