I've posted before but, yes, IVIG worked for me. My NK cells were highly elevated and the IVIG brought them down nicely. I did have to keep taking it throughout my pregnancy. Every 4 weeks or so my NKs would spike again--particulary in the second tri after I weaned off steroids.
With all the discussion recently about a possible connection between maternal immune problems and childhood autism, I'm very, very glad that my doctor prescribed IVIG. DD is now 15 months and we're getting ready to try for #2. I will definitely be taking it again.
Were you able to get your health insurance to cover it?
