| Hello! I have the middle aged body with a tummy and slimmer legs. What brands have worked for you? |
| I am 33 with a baby pouch and skinny legs and I like Kut from the Kloth jeans. You can get them for $45 from Nordstrom Rack and there is usually a good selection. I don't like that they're mostly not as stretchy as some other brands so I hadn't bought any in a few years, but the one pair I have I have been getting a lot of compliments on lately so I bought 2 more. They are made for women with a baby pooch or so. Same idea as "Not Your Daughter's Jeans" which a lot of people love but don't look that great on me. They are also at Nordstrom Rack at a significant discount. |

| Let's not confuse our jeans! Those are budget jeans. I need some nice looking ones for my older body. Not 20 right now. |
| ^^on the video. |
| The Kut from the Kloth and Not Your Daughter's Jeans I listed are specifically made for "real bodies" and run around $89 - $125 a pair. I think JCrew jeans are also in that range full-price. That's hardly a budget jean for me. If you want to buy a pricey pair of $200+ designer jeans you should go to one of those specialty jean stores and let them fit you. There was The Denim Bar in Bethesda but I just looked it up and it closed. |
| Gap skinnies----not all over 40 women are out of shape! |
How does this help OP? |
|
I got a pari of Tahari jeans at Bloomingdales that I love. (boot cut not skinny--I'm in my early 40s with a tummy after 2 kids)
I looked on their site and couldn't find the kind that I bought but they might have different things in-store. |
| Tired of the implication that once you are over 40 you are fat and out of shape. |
| A mid-rise dark color from J Brand. They have some that are not quite as form fitted as skinny jeans. They are slimming and make your butt look good. |
I agree! When i read the title i was confused . Should be titled Jeans for apple shape and out of shape. If a 20yr old has the body od the OP then they should wear the same cut jeans. |
yucks! |
| I still have twenty pounds of baby weight to lose, and I just picked up a great pair of Levi's at Macy's that are super stretchy and very slimming...and they were only $40! |
