Ever considered creating an Art/Culture forum?

Questions and discussions about things like theater, museums, art, etc currently wind up spread out over several different forums, and usually get buried really quickly because they don't generate as much drama as some of the other discussions in those forums. Having it all in one place would be great. It could even include discussion about TV/Movies. Ever considered it Jeff?

I thought about a popular culture forum that would include book ant TV discussions. There was opposition to the idea by those who preferred having such things in the off-topic forum. But, if there is support for this or a variation of it, I am open to it.

It would be a great idea, including books and tv (although I don't care much about tv). Go for it!

It looks like the most common topics in Off-Topic that could possibly support their own forums would be a) popular culture stuff and b) cars/driving/traffic/commuting.

I came over to this topic to propose the exact same thing. Would love to discuss books, movies and TV.
