apple sauce cake recipe

My kid has stopped eating apple sauce and other as a side for potato pancakes or pork chops, I'm not really a fan myself.

Anyone have a recipe that calls for apple sauce in the mix?

Use it as a substitute for about half the butter or oil in baked goods recipes like muffins, quick breads, or bar cookies (regular drop cookies & brownies get cakey). Results will be a bit lighter in texture.

I sub applesauce for all of the oil.
