Is it possible to pay off a credit card directly with tax refund?

Anonymous
I know that I can get it direct deposited but I'd really just like to pay off a credit card with it without it ever being in my bank account. I think I'll be tempted to keep the money otherwise.

Have some discipline, girl!

The minute the refund hits, pay your cc online. Set up the link now if you haven't already.

I didn't write that, but based on reading dcum quite a bit, I believe it's a dcum custom to use the feminine when writing. People always assume I'm a woman. Probably because its urban moms.

It actually bugs me when people say "ladies" in a discussion that is entirely gender neutral.

No, the tax forms ask for your routing and account numbers. Credit cards don't have a routing number. Have some discipline, like the other pp said.

No, it's Urban Moms and Dads.

But, yes, the stats show something like 70% of the posters here are female.

My refund will be available on Friday in my account (just checked). Once I saw that today, I scheduled a payment to my credit card for Friday. Voila! Easy.

I got my MD refund today and I filed on Feb. 9th. Still waiting on the federal refund. I have already paid for the pool this summer with the state refund. When the federal one comes in, I plan on paying off my last student loan. The feeling will be so awesome so I would never dream of spending it on anything else!
