What beginning foreign language is offered at Churchill?

Anonymous
DC has been taking Latin in middle school in another district. We are moving this summer to the Winston Churchill district and they don't offer Latin. So DC is going to have to start another language from the beginning. We've been told that they do not offer Chinese 1, which was our first choice. I've heard others complain they eliminated French and Spanish 1, as well. Does anyone know? Yes, I've contacted the school but haven't heard back.

Just because it's listed in the catelogue doesn't necessarily mean it will be offered. If few students sign up for a course, they cancel it. That can easily happen with level 1 languages in high schools.
