Vote: Dangerously Delicious or Pie Sisters?

Anonymous
I like the idea of mini pies, which Dangerously Delicious doesn't offer, but I've heard much better things about customer service at Dangerously Delicious. I've never had either one, so I'm flying blind. It's for a small party this weekend. Has to be pie (it goes with the theme).

Opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Pie sisters aren't so great IMHO- the crust is dry. I've had savory dangerously delicious pies but not sweet. Better then pie sisters.

I think you should sample them yourself OP. Pie sisters has some really nice pies, but I would admit their summer flavors are better than their winter ones. But, they are so nice they would probably custom order for you.

Dangerously Delicious for both flavor and customer service.

Haven't tried Pie Sisters, but I think Dangerously Delicious pies aren't very good.
If it's just a small party, why not make your own? You can use foil mini-pie tins that you get in the grocery store, and you can make exactly the flavor combo you want.

Dangerously delicious hands down.

I used to drive to Baltimore for the Dangerously Delicious mixed berry pie. Yum!

I was not impressed by Dangerously Delicious.

There was a good pie lady at the Bethesda indoor farmers market.

I have recently become obsessed with Dangerously Delicious- I recommend the Baltimore Bomb or the Pecan Pie!!

Call ahead for pie sisters - they don't carry even their basics every day. I like their pies, but the customer service just isn't there.

Pie Sisters: agree that service sucks. They lost me forever when they said in a snooty way that they only make pies custom, 24 hrs in advance, or they have a few mini pies if you happen to like one of the three or four ones sitting there. Why have a shop?

Exactly. They should have stuck to phone/online orders.

I don't think they are in it for love of pies but in hopes of being the Georgetown Cupcake Reality Show of pies.
