| how can you report 2012 NNAT2 score *and* FAT score? Are you reporting last year's NNAT score??? FAT is new this year for 2nd grade and 1st graders get NNAT2. you make no sense. The thread you're bragging on is NNAT2 scores for this year.. |
|
"My son got 48/48 and 160.
Thank you for your thoughts. He is 'super sweet' by his teacher. He can not be happier every day. And he also got 99% FAT without any prep BTW." If this is the post you got hangup with, save your headache. The son is "'super sweet' by his teacher", and "can not be happier every day". What that tells you? |
You feel better now? |
| This was worth a separate thread? |

All written by annoying mom..
There are a lot of posts here- some receive little responses (or are one explanation questions), some are long... welcome to DCUM.. |
+1000 Why does poster even care? |

There is someone truly weird or maybe even deranged on board with us, I've seen her here before, and I recognized her as . . . OP. Seriously, get some help OP, your thought processes really are not normal. |
| Sorry, having slept on it, I apologize to OP for my judgment of you based on your post. I have no idea why the reporting mom struck a nerve with you, but it is not my place to judge your mental state. Sorry about that. |
I am the mom. Sorry for bothering you so much. My son is in 2nd grade now. I posted his last year's NNAT2 there because somebody asked "what the score is for 48/48". |
NP and thank you- I appreciate your posting again and your message! It was IMO not relevant to the thread which asked about THIS year's scores. Reading through a few threads, this mom has been reposting her last year's perfect score for a while. And she kept reposting on that thread (other PPs were annoyed as well). Just annoying.. Well- anonymous forum- what can you do.. |
OP again, I am new to this forum - not DCUM.. my DD is my eldest (1st grade) and I am trying to learn about how things work since I also have a preK boy. I did gather from my neighborhood (parents of older kids) how crazed this might be but I am just trying to prepare myself on what may or may not happen - just get info. There was an AAP meeting recently at our ES but I thought it was too early since DD is only in 1st grade and we didn't get scores etc.. |
| What is the FAT test? |
| Fairfax Ability Test. Replaces the national CogAt, and is actually a customized version of the CogAt only used in Fairfax County. This is the first year that Fairfax has used it, so it's not age-normed this year, and parents receive only percentile scores (based on local Fairfax population) without any number scores. |
