VRSC

The argument is stupid. The key to development lies within a frame work of having exposure to many different forms of coaching. Kids move around and they get different advancement from each situation. I don't know any one player that would say their entire development was credited to one individual. Kids learn from bad coaches too. Keep arguing though as you are showing your own stupidity to anyone reading this.

With VRSC and NVA/LS now both in GA, it’s just a matter of time before some top NVA/LS girls and their families realize that VRSC already has same league, better coaches, better facilities, and better commitment to their girls program, and in time with have better teams. Once they do, they will make the obvious self-interested decision to switch. You only need 2-3 top players from an NVA team to make that decision for VRSC to surpass that NVA team, and then the floodgates will open. I don’t know how long before that happens, but it will, which is why there is so much hate directed to VRSC here—Loudoun Soccer knows they have a huge problem.

Leaving friends you've been playing with for years for "better coaching" in the same league at the U14+ level seems like VRSC admin take. VRSC will need to do more to disrupt the younger funnel. No hate here

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. ECNL (now GA) players at NVA are not there to play with their friends, and players at this level change teams at U14+ all the time. Perhaps you are writing about rec players.

girls usually like to play with their friends at all age groups through HS

No club "develops" players individually in the US.

Individual development comes from the players putting in extra work, and the parents investing time and money for that extra work. The sad and unfortunate truth of youth soccer in the US.

Some clubs are better at winning. We can all argue their formula (i.e. better recruiting, employing kickball tactics, whatever). But don't kid yourselves into believing kids will get better with coaches that have limited training time with all of the rostered players.

100% agree

Girls make friends with the people they play with.

As soon as I hear "framework' I know you're full of it and tune out. It's like "pathway," an empty platitude that has no meaning or evidence of efficacy outside of the youth soccer landscape.

So are you saying this coach is still at VRSC and was this confirmed or just rumor?

Not the first time this has ever happened do you live in a cave? I know of a coach that was with a parent. Maybe it helps the kid get playing time or she was just lonely.

I don’t live in a cave, I know this happens! I was asking if that coach was still at VRSC. Good lord, I didn’t say that isn’t true.

Why does it matter if he is still there?
