Apples and oranges. There is nothing offensive about "cowboys" and it is totally appropropriate for a team based in Texas. Washington Redskins make absolutely no sense at all. |

And if they used the name Warriors, they could keep the logo image. Depicting Native Americans as Warriors would remove the negative connotations from the outdated and racist name. |

It's Capitals. Capital is an adjective with many meanings, one of which is "great," e.g. "a capital idea." And no, I'm not a Nationals fan so I'm not going to defend their name.
