I'm very newly pregnant (FTM) and looking for a good OB in NW DC who is either affiliated with GW or would have me deliver there. I'm currently at RHJN, but I don't like the babymill vibe I get there. I'm open to natural childbirth, but I definitely want to be at a good hospital in case anything goes wrong.
Thanks all. |
| Dr. Metz at GW MFA |
+1 Dr. Michelle Metz is awesome! |
| I really like Dr. Marfori. |
| Keller and gaba |
| The MFA group (which Metz, Keller, Gaba, etc are all part of) shares call, so there's no guarantee that you'll get "your doctor" for labor and delivery. That said, the majority of docs in the group are great and I would highly recommend them. |
| I have Dr. Martinez at GWU MFA, whom I love, and also like Dr. Gorelick. But the MFA offices are at 22nd and I Street, and at 23rd and M. St - they don't have NW D.C. offices, so you'd have to come downtown for your appointments. |
| Another recommendation for Dr. Martinez. She's great! |
The MFA office is in NW DC. |
| Some of the GW OB's have an office near Sibley as well. |
| I love Gaba. |
| Dr. Gorelick. Park at Whole foods (across the street) and buy something small for parking validation! |
| Since you're open to natural birth, consider Wisdom Midwifery at GW. They are amazing and if you seriously want a natural birth, it's a great practice to help you achieve that. They also work closely with the GW OB team, who will be right outside your room should you need OB care during labor. |
| Love Dr. Sheth. I see her at the Bethesda office. Get labs and sonos at the Mfa. |

Love Dr. Gaba!
