Can anyone recommend a Vietnamese restaurant near Bethesda? Thanks.

I like Rice Paddies Grill across from the women's market in Bethesda. It is counter-service and fast/casual. I recommend chicken curry/ pork noodle bowl/ summer rolls. HATED the Vietnamese meatballs.

Except for sushi and Indian, Bethesda has priced itself out of ethnic food. You'll need to go to Wheaton or Rockville for decent Vietnamese.

Agree. Like a use purel after you sit down because the chair you pulled out was sticky kind of place. I used a baby wipe to wipe down the table the one and only time I went there. And I'm someone who doesn't think twice about implementing the 3 second rule.

I have been to Rice Paddies numerous times and it has never been dirty. Ever. I usually go around 5:00 on a weeknight.

i don't usually mind hole-in-the-walls but rice paddies was just gross. i would give it a pass if the food was actually good, but it was just ok. be ye warned.
