| Can anyone recommend a Vietnamese restaurant near Bethesda? Thanks. |
| I like Rice Paddies Grill across from the women's market in Bethesda. It is counter-service and fast/casual. I recommend chicken curry/ pork noodle bowl/ summer rolls. HATED the Vietnamese meatballs. |
| i ate at rice paddies grill once and feel i can never go back... it was dirty. like grimy and flies flying all around my table dirty. |
| Except for sushi and Indian, Bethesda has priced itself out of ethnic food. You'll need to go to Wheaton or Rockville for decent Vietnamese. |
Agree. Like a use purel after you sit down because the chair you pulled out was sticky kind of place. I used a baby wipe to wipe down the table the one and only time I went there. And I'm someone who doesn't think twice about implementing the 3 second rule. |
| I have been to Rice Paddies numerous times and it has never been dirty. Ever. I usually go around 5:00 on a weeknight. |
| Eden center. Seven corners. |
| Nam Viet in Cleveland Park? |
exactly! i don't usually mind hole-in-the-walls but rice paddies was just gross. i would give it a pass if the food was actually good, but it was just ok. be ye warned. |
| I miss Green Papaya -- that was my favorite! |
me too! |
| The eden center keeps it real |
Interesting and sad point. |
