DRA and AAP selection

Do you know what DRA level, at the end of 2nd quarter for 2nd grade, is considered one grade level above?

Just guessing -- somewhere around 32 or 34

We got a form in the report card that said 30 was above for 2nd quarter, 34 for 3rd quarter, and 38-40 for 4th quarter.

I don't know how relevant DRA is for AAP. DD was actually below grade level at the beginning of second (it was a mistake, but that's what they had) and was just on grade level in the middle of the year. She was in the pool and had good test scores, though. She made AAP and is now a great reader.

I think a 34 is about mid 3rd grade level DRA.

That's fantastic for your dd! I was wondering since someone mentioned that it was on the GBRS form.
