Anyone else having night sweats?

Anonymous
I have been having them regularly throughout my pregnancy - am 19 weeks now. I have experimented with clothing, sheets, etc. (my down comforter seems to make it worse), and still never know when they will hit and I will wake up a shivering mess. Besides the "ick" factor and the disruption to my and my husband's sleep, I'm sure I'm getting dehydrated every night - I wake up and have to drink so much water!

I plan to ask my OB for pointers, but wanted to see if anyone had tips or at least a positive message that this will end soon!

The hotflashes continues through Bfing too. ick, I know.

It's a hormone thing and some women are more prone to it than others...hang in there and would love to hear what your doc says because my hotflashes still come and go.

I'm 30 weeks now, and just recently have I been getting very hot during the night. Even though it's cool outside now, I have the air on to about 68 degrees while sleeping. I'll be sweating and reach over to touch my husband during the night and he'll be an ice box! I'm not sure if there is much you can do except crank the air up....but who knows.
