Until some insider photos were posted on a Fort Meade Wives' page, this soda machine was still being used to serve drive through customers. Now, supposedly (1 day later), it's all been cleaned up to spotless, and the manager is begging the OP to take down the photos, as it's damaging to the brand.
What is frightening is this could be any restaurant's soda machine, I don't think being on Fort Meade, or being a Burger King, has a thing to do with it. Not sure how to post pics, but the photos have been posted to Yelp here: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/army-and-air-force-exchange-service-burger-king-fort-meade?select=8Ga-Ei1CyDXc-Q1XOaZ5WQ#8Ga-Ei1CyDXc-Q1XOaZ5WQ Yuck! |
| OMG, that is disgusting! |
| Bleagh... |
| Burger King just had some horsemeat scandal recently too. So gross! |

LOL PP!
Well, it appears the wives got their point across! Action has been taken, and BK closed on Fort Meade. This was just released: Following an inspection today by myself, Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Ladder, Public Health Command and Veterinary Services, I have ordered the closing of the AAFES Burger King, located at 2794 Rose Street. The decision to close the facility was made so that it can be thoroughly cleaned and re-inspected. The Installation and AAFES are working closely together to ensure that the dining facility is re-opened as quickly as possible. As always, the health and safety of the Fort Meade community is a top priority. V/R COL Edward C. Rothstein |
