cycle after birth control pills

I have recently just stopped my birth control pills after taking them for the past 7 years. My cycle seems a bit off this month (CM not following normal pattern) and I was wondering if anyone else has experience with stopping the pill and how long it takes for cycles to become normals.

I am probably way on the fringes of normal here...but when I first went off the pill (after about 7 years), I didn't get a period for 3 or 4 months. Talk about nervewracking--when you want to get pregnant, and then month after month, no period...having nothing to do with pregnancy!!!

I had the same experience as the PP. I went off the pill and 3 months later still no period. I finally went to my gyn who gave me progesterone to jump start a period. The next month I ovulated right on time and got pregnant.
