BASIS DC, a public charter school, offers an accelerated liberal arts curriculum which is among the most reliable and rigorous in the country. BASIS DC believes that every child deserves the opportunity to learn at an internationally competitive level. For that reason, BASIS DC is an open enrollment school which does not require an entrance examination and does not charge tuition. Any student can attend if there is space available. The school is located in Penn Quarter, the heart of the city, easily accessible from all Metro lines and several Metro bus lines.

Please join us at the Open House being held on Tuesday, February 5th, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at 410 8th Street, NW, Washington, DC. Prospective parents with children enrolling in grades 5-9 for the upcoming 2013-2014 academic school year will learn general information about BASIS DC and will have the opportunity to ask administrators about the curriculum, culture, and anything else they would like to know about the school. Prospective students can get a feel for the pace and excitement of a BASIS DC classroom. Parents will also be able to fill out enrollment applications at the Open House.
