| Need something nice (good food, nice atmosphere) for brunch with out-of-town friends who are very much into the good life. HOWEVER, between the two families we will have 3 kids under 5 and so it needs to be somewhat kid-friendly as well. Any such place exist in or close to Georgetown? |
| Peacock cafe should work. Its ok food, some yummy stuff, great location, loud, and I see kids there a lot. It is crowded, so be prepared. |
| I second Peacock Cafe. Make a reservation. |

Maybe Farmers Fishers Bakers? Not sure how kid-friendly it is -- you might call to ask. Very nice atmosphere. And if your friends like to ice skate there is a public outdoor rink right outside that faces the harbour -- could be a nice way to pair an activity with the meal!!

I have taken my kids to La Ruche, Peacock Cafe, RIS (I guess that's more Foggy Bottom, not Georgetown), Leopold's Kafe & Konditrei, Bonaparte, Patisserie Poupon & Farmers Fishers Bakers. Just on a walk-in basis we end up at Dean & Deluca or PAUL.
You said that you will have kids under 5 with you so I agree that Peacock Cafe would be best or FFB. |
