Cooked ground beef question

I assembled a ziti with cheese, tomato sauce, and cooked ground beef Monday night.

Plans changed, and I won't be able to bake it until Wednesday.

Will it still be ok to eat on Wednesday?

did you cook the ground beef already? It should be ok -- where did you buy it? What was the expiration date?

It is totally fine! You can always freeze it today if you think you won't be able to bake it tomorrow.

I wouldn't freeze it since you would end up taking it out again today to thaw it. However since the meat is already cooked it should be fine as long as you kept it in the refridgerator, it would almore be like storing leftovers.

Thanks everyone. It's been in the fridge, and the exp date on the meat was 2/4/13.
Looks like we will be eating it.
