| Made the mistake of ordering two boxes of thin mints. They got delivered to me yesterday and I ate half a sleeve watching The Bachelor last night and am at work wishing I had some with me. i doubt they are going to last the week in my house. I can't be the only one!! |
| I haven't bought any the past two years or so because of this! There's something about feeling like they are a limited time thing that makes me binge, and I'm not even normally a binger!! Lucky for me my favorite is thin mints and they are the samething as Kebler Grasshopers so in reality I can get my fix whenever! |
two words - cookie donation
|
| That's odd. We're not supposed to get cookies for another couple of weeks. |
I bet you live in Virginia, and OP lives in Maryland. |
No, they are not the same as Grasshoppers, there's something just a little bit different when they show up via-Girl scout. I could take or leave grasshoppers, but I LOVE thin mints and limit myself to one box a year. |
|
Even within states, different areas have different dates. My niece in the Baltimore area had cookie season in the fall. The neighborhood kids are delivery in February.
And yes, they are evil. I let myself just eat the whole damn box and we're done with it. |
I ordered 2 boxes of thin mints as well, just waiting for them to arrive. Wondering if both boxes will make it home... One might accidentally end up in my desk drawer
|
hey, does anyone remember when grasshoppers were more like mint-filled oreos? They were my FAVORITE snack in my lunch box! |
| Thanks OP!!! I was in the midst of a diet trying to lose those stubborn five points. Now I will just have to delay my diet. I can't give up my Girl Scout cookies. I just can't..... |
OP here: I was doing so good on my workouts too. Was going to the gym and eating healthy the last 2 weeks but these damn Girl Scout cookies are the death of me!! |
| Well, realistically, you do have agency, so you CHOOSE to eat them..... |
| Half a sleeve..that's nothing. I can down a sleeve before I even get them home. They are so good. Thank goodness it's once a year. |
| I must be the only person in the world who prefers the shortbread to Thin Mints. I ate a sleeve of those walking home from the metro. |
| Freeze them! So much better, plus sometimes you forget after a few days, then bingo! Found them again, yay! |
