FCV would have cleaned up in multiple age groups. I watched the streams and didn’t see anything special from this so called “elite” league.

I cannot tell if this is an obvious troll attempt or delusional parent but it is one or the other. I would pay good money to see FCV 07s play SoCal Blues or the 06s to play GSA. Ok, maybe not the 06s since they already lost to Bethesda at Jeff Cup but you get the gist.

Actually I take back the 07s too. They can’t even beat Loudoun or MD United. ROFL. “Cleaned Up” multiple age groups. ROFL ROFL ROFL.

Unsure what's dumb, they did. VDA was the top placed team in their group as Mid-Atlantic champs and finished 3rd scoring just 3 goals. I checked and the group winners scored 13 goals (just 1 against VDA though). BSC finished 3 of 4 as well. Sorry, that's dismal for two top area clubs and two that faced off against each other at Jeff Cup. I'm sure their players weren't as experience in big tournaments or something and better luck to them next year

Choked is poor choice of words. VDA and BSC got to nationals and lost. I’m sure there are multiple reasons why they ended up third in their group. The person who says they choked clearly never played sports at a super high level. It is a very simplistic viewpoint.

It was a weird year for Maryland players. Let’s see how they do with a summer of conditioning and high school season where it should be ans not crammed among the spring ecnl season. Some “time off” will do that team some good.

They qualified for a tournament and did not advance to knockout games. They left simply as they arrived, merely division winners in a abbreviated season playing in a weak division.

No, and they probably won’t, along with the other 99.5 percent of players around here, but she’s playing at the highest level at this point of her soccer “career”.

If this can’t be considered “super high” tourney I don’t know what it- it’s the top ecnl teams from the region coming together to compete.
