This actually makes TOTAL sense to me. They have shared history, so their hearts are already open to each other. They have both lived and had some disappointments since the original breakup. They know what its like to be admired by the public and ridiculed by the public. They seem to have similar personalities, including the deep-seated issues with self-esteem and the addictive personalities (Jen to love, Ben to booze). My guess is that these two understand and love each other in a very fundamental way. I hope that age has given Ben the perspective to embrace those things in JLo instead of always looking for a fresh new admirer to reflect back a less-flawed version of himself.

Yes two addiction prone, high profile celebrities who broke up once before, with four prior marriages and five adolescent children between them with additional geographical challenges are always a good bet in my book too.

If you watch J. Lo's last tour doc, it seems like she is the primary parent that is always with them and he is pretty unreliable. It didn't sound like he did much parenting at all, even though they pained themselves to not actually say that but, for example, he was supposed to perform with her in Puerto Rico and had agreed to it but they were all about the fall back plan and not going to announce it because they basically said "who knows if he will actually show up, even if he did agree"... me thinks she is the one doing all the lifting as the parent.

Youa re saying the same thing- PP was saying now they have to deal with all the shit they are going to get from classmates, social media, etc- as in have to put up with/deal with. If the kids were little that would fly over all of their heads and they wouldn't be dealing with the fall out.
