They're using it to promote their blog where they also sell merchandise, and both parents are sell for different multi-level marketing companies. |
They’re almost three and a half. |
Bumping this for the finale tonight. Anyone else watching? |
I've never watched but just flipped and stopped while surfing DCUM. why dear God would you travel to Hawaii with 5 kids that age at all let alone with a tight connection. People are crazy, wait 2 years or really 3. Its different with 1 or maybe even 2 kids that age. but 5 plus their other million people. so not worth it |
I am! I am a little concerned about how focused Adam is on quitting his job and that he is pushing back on Danielle when she is asking perfectly reasonable questions. Other than that it looks like fun. I think they are doing a good thing taking a big vacation! Even though their family is large they still should be doing typical family things like going on vacation! |
But I agree that a 45 minute connection at LAX was a dumb move. Glad they made it without losing anyone! |
I read on another board that the company that Adam, Dale, and the other brother-in-law whose name I can't remember all worked for the same company. That company was bought out and Adam and Dale lost their jobs. Dale works somewhere else now, but Adam doesn't. So, the whole job drama is a set up. He probably got some kind of severance. In any case, the whole "woe is me; I can't go on outings with my kids during the day" storyline was ridiculous. I have a feeling that the show's on its last legs with the manufactured drama. |
Yeah, Adam and Danielle are terrible liars. You can pretty much tell when they're doing the hyped up, manufactured drama shtick. They probably really need the income from this show so it would be a shame to see it end for them. Hopefully they'll come up with some better (real) material. |
I like Dale, but I kind of feel bad for his own kids? I don't even know their names - whenever he's shown, he's almost exclusively paying attention to the quints. at least he has an actual job. |
He's more vocal about his own kids on his social media, but more like most parents; noting birthdays, the start of school, etc. He's smart though, IMO. He gets the attention of being with the quints (and probably a TLC paycheck), but doesn't have to whore out his own kids' privacy to do it. |
I watched one of the new episodes last night. It was the one where Blayke takes the gymnastics class and the quints are now fighting and being handfuls at time. That seemed very real and made me laugh.
Mimi was kept to a minimum and there was a bit about how Danielle and Adam give back to their community by helping out a family displaced by Hurricane Harvey. They even got the sextuplets a bit involved. I also saw Sweet Home Sextuplets and really liked the mom in that show. She described the guilt of not being there as much for her 3 older boys now that the six babies are here and that seemed very relatable to me. The only thing I couldn't understand was that terrible looking outfit (dress/shorts combo thing) that she wore to their first outing as a family to church. |
How about stop counting on pimping out your kids on TV for income? Seriously, these reality TV litter families need to go. |
That is very interesting about Adam and Dale, and it certainly explains the new Adam story line. Unfortunately I think it really portrays Adam in a very bad light - how on earth would anyone think it is a good idea for the sole breadwinner to quit his job. I wonder why they didn't tell it like it is? I bet Adam would have gotten picked up quick by some company that wanted a little free promo time (like 'see Adam at his new job at XYZ! Isn't XYZ a great company!?! Buy XYZ!!!'). Anyway, I am glad Dale landed on his feet. He has a lot of hustle so it makes sense that he would have gotten re-employed quickly. |
Isn't the cycle studio a job for Adam too though? |
Looks like Danielle got new breasts for the Hawaii trip. |
