Teen Mom 2

You're welcome! Until this I had no idea that the dads were making this much money. They are filmed much, much less than the moms.

Jenelle is a full-on sociopath and watching her try to parent her baby is the most depressing thing ever. It's worse than Leah, who with all her problems at least loves her kids.

Spot on. It was absolutely chilling to hear her describe newborn Jace as "clingy." (This was LONG ago, obviously, but she has not developed an ounce of empathy since then.)

I missed Monday's episode so I went to watch it on mtv.com. Why do they make you sign on via your cable provider to watch the old episodes? What a PITA.

Anybody know anything about Cole? Is he too good to be true for Chelsea?

I think Cole is lovely. I hope he and Chelsea stick.

Cole seems like a good guy and he and Chelsea seem stable -- no obvious fighting; no drug use; seems to be a relatively normal day to day life. Which is good for Aubrey. I believe Cole is an engineer or something similar for the South Dakota Department of Transport/Highways. So he seems to be educated with a decent job, and I've never gotten the sense that he wants or needs to be on TV, unlike a lot of other boyfriends on this franchise who need the TV fame in order to avoid a crappy job.

Totally agree! I died laughing at the last episode when she couldn't find anything to drink. She said something like "dang it mama!" So cute but kinda sad too.

Poor Chelsea--her storyline is a snooze fest now. She's never even been arrested!

Because they have contracts with cable companies to provide their channel. If they offered them up for free on the web site, people wouldn't need to pay for cable.

Not watching this season this season but just saw a clip on Leah's lawyer summarizing what the judge ruled when he swapped custodial time. You can see a bunch of books in the background propped up on a mantel. I knew it had to be the lawyer's self promotion...I was right:

Yeah but a snooze fest is still better for Aubrey. Plus I imagine it'll turn to wedding planning and a wedding soon. And then there will be a baby with Cole, so between that and Adam's yearly demands for custody -- it keeps her on the air. And frankly even if they were taken off, I don't see her or Cole caring all that much; they have their own life, they seem to earn paychecks that support them and the TM money is just a nice extra for however long it lasts. It doesn't look like they need TM money to raise their kid for the next decade.

They used to be free to watch which is why I asked. I used to watch the entire season on mtv.com.

I remember doing that too. So annoying that they do that now.

I watched last night's episode, and Jenelle was talking about dating a new guy. I can't help but wonder who on Earth would date her. She's s notorious psychotic mess. Have these guys never watched the show? Or read anything about her? Why would anyone want to get involved with her? She's not even remotely attractive.

Did anyone else think Kailyn was a little tough on Jo? I mean, compared to these other dad's, he's a gem. Seemed to me like she was just looking for a fight.

Kail is the only one allowed to do certain things. Jo and Javi may never do those things. Javi seems to be following her lead with that mindset. I think Javi took the picture to show her in order to stir up shit with Jo. Kail has twice now criticized the way Jo chooses to dress Isaac. Well, Isaac is HIS son too, and if he wants him dressed like a baller, that has just as much value as Kail wanting him dressed like a preppy hipster. I didn't care for Kail insisting that she was only really upset that Isaac heard the fight, and then told him it wasn't okay for him to talk to people the way Jo talked to Kail. What about the way Javi talked to Jo? What about the way Kail talks to Jo and Javi? And who cares if jo is wearing sweatpants in his own house? The fact that Kail chooses to bring that up shows how messed up her priorities are sometimes. and for Javi saying that he doesn't have anything in common with Jo and doesn't care about anything having to do with him, he seems awfully concerned with his getting involved with his business.

Javi seems unnaturally attached to Isaac. I'm glad he loves his stepson, but he seems to go overboard. Going to school to eat lunch with him because he misses him when he's on visitation with Jo? come on, let Isaac have his Jo days. He also has a tattoo of Isaac on his arm. I think Jo is feeling defensive of that attachment. It's great for Isaac to have a loving stepdad, but he does have a very involved loving dad who shouldn't have to share him with Javi.

Why did Kail show up early to pick up Issac? I would be upset too if I were Jo. The thing of it is, Issac was dressed, so he was 90% ready to leave.

Janelle wants a father figure in her life. That is why she dates around so much.
