Bet this one had something to do with the chickens leaving.. |
Actually, it simply wasn't funny. |
Yes you would know about not funny. So you must be very active in the social sense. |
| Bump |
| I miss this thread. |
Why? We're IB for Janney and will be in K next year, and it freaks me out a little! (Have only read page 1 so far.) We're really laid back, not super high income, not "connected", and never wear toe shoes. We're not that new to the neighborhood, but haven't met that many other families with kids the same age and are really looking forward to being at the neighborhood school...

| Just out of curiosity, why would anyone care about the social scene? My daughter is going to be entering prek4 in the fall "not at Janney" but I would care less about being socially accepted by any parents. As long as the children treat my daughter with respect and vice versa. I definitely plan to be very involved with her and her school activities, but with all respect intended, it's seems as though so many of the parents in DCUM get so caught up in silly stuff like this. Just my perspective |

PP, you don't care and seems like every other person on this thread doesn't care. So, why is it still happening?
In last thread about Janney some were wishing to have east of Wisconsin Avenue rezoned. Must be that the least cool ones live there. |
16:59 here. I don't care if I'm accepted by any parents, but I would care if it affects my kid's experience at the school in any way, as people in this thread have argued it does. Let's hope this is not true for the rising K class. |
Because your child isn’t invited to play dates or parties. |
And clearly you aren't invited to Janney mom liquid play dates. |
| Ahh the uncool moms are all on this thread. Chill, people! |
| Toe shoebdad...we miss you |
Ha! I've heard about those. Janney moms like their Chardonnay. |
