What do you think of SuperBowl Halftime?

The halftime shows cater to the lowest common denominator, and sells flash and sex. Always.

I don't like any of them, or really anything to do with pop music and culture, and this has nothing to do with my politics, but simply with good taste.

This year's performance was a smidge less worse than the other ones in that at least there was an element of celebrating the culture and history of Puerto Rico, a location that most Americans don't know about and which has long been denigrated and ignored. If you're going to gyrate vulgarly on stage, might as well educate the masses a little.

The whole boricua thing is so cringe

Cannot stop laughing about the fact that the one MAGA person I know is complaining about BB singing in Spanish--immediately after fangirling about Andrea Bocelli in the Olympics opening ceremony with no irony whatsoever.

Bad Bunny has made himself a divisive figure by making overtly political statements. He got up at the Grammy Asards and said “ICE Out”. I don’t like him and have no interest in any of his music. I thought his performance was disgusting. Why did he keep touching himself on stage?

No one cares what you think. He performed and did an amazing job! And people tuned in…huge ratings haha. You can stew in your own feces 💩😘.

Most of the people watching were not watching for him, but the Super Bowl event itself.

A Zamfir concert of Gregorian Chant dirges would have been more entertaining than that snooze-fest of a game

What a sad little troll you are. Probably envious of joyful, proud boricua culture. We’re having so much more fun than you. 😂

For real.

I assume everyone on here who loved it is fluent in Spanish and would be just as approving if Eminem were up there rapping in English about his d***, and f***ing girls, and all that.

You clearly don’t speak Spanish and are making things up.

These are some of the songs he performed at the Super Bowl:

1. Debí Tirar Más Fotos (“I Should Have Taken More Photos”) — a reflection on regret, about not capturing more moments with loved ones.

2. Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawái (“What Happened to Hawaii”) — a powerful critique of gentrification in Puerto Rico, drawing parallels to Hawaii’s history and warning about the consequences of U.S. statehood.

3. Baile Inolvidable (“Unforgettable Dance”) — a salsa tribute to Puerto Rican cultural heritage.

I’m Latin and don’t even listen to Bad Bunny, but the lyrics of the song about Hawaii were so powerful that I cried. I immediately went to listen to the full track after the show. Bad Bunny earned my respect on Sunday. And honestly, if it weren’t for all the MAGA noise around the game, I probably wouldn’t have tuned in at all. I don’t follow football. I suspect a lot of people were in the same boat.

You should fix this then and clear it up for everyone:

This has shown me how little influence groups like TPUSA and twitter have. It’s all fake.

I think it’s funny how even the Puppy Bowl has a higher viewership than the TPUSA halftime show. Honestly, I think it's more of an embarrassment for TPUSA.

Repeating a great post o saw online: I’m sick of living in a world where a 15-minute halftime show causes more outrage than a predator president.”

Bad Bunny and Kid Rock both suck and American popular music of all genres peaked in the 90s.

Whoa, I had no idea that reggaeton was over 400 years old!
