Why Rose? I actually wouldn't be surprised if a divorce or separation was happening in the background. It would explain a lot of the secrecy and bad PR attempts but I don't think it's for Rose.

Photos are routinely touched up in photoshop these days so no doubt it’s been photoshopped.

Let’s say something catastrophic did happen and she was in an induced coma as a Spanish reporter claims. So what? Of course that is awful for her and her family. She would be taken care of at home, with the best care takers round the clock and Prince William would continue on as usual. He is actually the one who would become king and while sure a nice pretty queen by his side makes a good picture she is actually not necessary. And if William isn’t there then it’s George and so on. They have a line of succession.

Or maybe she ran off to be by herself and they are going to divorce. Again so what? They have had plenty of divorces in the royal family and Charles is hardly one to judge.

I actually hope she is recovering and will be ok because her kids are still so young.

Maybe she really has been hiding an extra body part and just had it removed. Or was abducted by aliens and they are still searching for her.

This is so incredibly botched. Kate was very well liked before this happened (with the exception of a handful of Meghan stans). If she was truly just sick, had they been more forthcoming, she would have gotten even more love and support from the public. But the way they've handled this makes it seem like they're all a bunch of lying frauds.

You’ve got Charlotte’s sleeve, Charlotte’s skirt, Kate’s hand, Kate’s textured sleeve cuff for this zippered jacket, and the wooden bit of the handle of the chair inside the circled area. No obvious photoshopping. I have no idea why people are so invested in crying “fake”! Because of the media, I agree they should have said a little bit more about the nature of the illness, because they should know by now no one would let it go.

This is what I don't understand. Whatever is happening is redeemable. It's not worth the constant negative attention with these theories. They can keep their privacy and not be so dodgy about it.

It's an awkward pose and the editing around her hands does seem to be badly done.

But I can't understand why the palace would issue some vague announcement about surgery if there was something more dramatic going on. As coverups go, it hasn't worked very well - the surgery story has only intensified the curiousity and scrutiny.
