Apparently it's very big for WASP's to give their daughter's their mothers maiden name, as their first name, but Blake's mom's maiden name was Carrington.

I remember back in the ‘80’s, on the soap opera “The Young & The Restless” had a teenage girl character named “Cricket” which was short for the name Christine.

I always loved that moniker.
