It's missing from the phone version of Recent Topics. I left it out by accident, but the feedback I received is that it was better that way because it allowed posters to see more threads.

I see. Thanks for the reply.

So new look and all and still no 'Like" and "Dislike" button?

If you login, you can "rate" a post. Of course, virtually nobody logs in.

I think with anonymous posting, a "like" button would be subject to tremendous abuse. We already have posters who soc puppet and "+1" their own posts.

Thanks for replying. I was not aware many engaged in such chicanery.

I'm going to collect a list of modifications to consider. I'll add this to the list. In the meantime, you can use the legacy site:

Thank you so much for adding this Jeff! I cannot tell you how much this helps!

Sorry that it took so long. I had taken a break from making modifications in order to focus on other things, but forced myself to make a couple of changes that I had promised but not delivered.

Am I the only one who just can't get used to the new design? I know there is a link to the original design, but it's mildly annoying to have the extra navigating/clicks to get to it. I suppose I need to change my bookmarks to go directly to it.

Changing your bookmarks is the best bet. But, what don't you like about the new design? There may be easy fixes for that. Very few users are using the legacy site now. Less than 1%.

I can't quite put my finger on it, honestly. It's probably just mainly that I'm a creature of habit. It just strikes me as feeling too zoomed in or crowded, or something along those lines. I liked being able to see more at once on the page, at a glance. I don't know if that makes any sense. This is all regarding the web version, the changes don't bother me on the mobile site.

I don't like the new version either and I can't use it on my phone at all.

I don’t like how zoomed in it is, can’t you offer an option for small/med/large text? Most posts are difficult to read in portrait mode.

You forgot my request😔to add the “Go to” page. I must be one of the few that comes back to a thread and picks up where I left off. It’s very useful! I switch to original site sometimes because using ➡️ sux. Thanks!

Try adjusting the zoom level of your browser. Most modern browsers only change zoom level on a per website basis so it should affect other sites. But, it might make DCUM look better for you.

Again, try adjusting the zoom level of your browser. I find the default text to be too small so my browser is adjusted to enlarge the text by one step. You an probably find a zoom level that works better for you.

Click on the box that says "go" and you will find a welcome surprise.
