That’s par for the course for the Super Bowl halftime. Chubby Checker actually was in the SB halftime show when the Redskins beat the Broncos.

Adding that not only is Kendrick popular but this is a rapper who won a Pulitzer. You have to go out of your way not to have heard his music. It’s been everywhere.

This was a fantastic performance in so many ways.

For us old-timers (40+) - it was great to see musical artists sing the songs of our youth. Note: I am so glad that they stuck with the classics - not tried to even supplement that with any brand new material.
And everyone looked so good.
Cannot believe how “cool” these performers made fifty (!) look.
Except Kendrick Lamar of course.
