NEW: Per law enforcement sources, this is the mugshot for Diana Teran, a top official in LA DA George Gascon’s office who is charged with 11 felonies by the CA AG’s office. She was booked into jail yesterday. She is a former public defender who Gascon hired to be one of the most powerful people in his office, overseeing all prosecutions of law enforcement, and in charge of “office integrity”.
The California AG’s office accuses her of accessing and taking confidential LA County Sheriff’s Dept personnel records during her time there, then illegally bringing those records to Gascon’s DA office for use there. I’m told she can face up to 9 years & 8 months in prison if convicted on the charges.
Separately & unrelated, she was also accused in a whistleblower lawsuit last fall of purposely delaying decisions to not file charges against

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — A state senator from Woodbury, Minnesota was arrested Monday morning after police were called to a home in Detroit Lakes for a report of a burglary.
Sen. Nicole Mitchell was booked in Becker County jail Monday for first-degree burglary after officers responded to a home on Granger Road at around 4:45 a.m. Formal charges are still pending.
The Democratic senator, who was elected in 2022, is a former meteorologist and still serves as lieutenant colonel in the Air National Guard, commanding a weather unit, her official profile says.

Two years ago the FBI raided Cuellar's house just before the primary. There was a progressive woman running against him, but establishment Democrats went full out in support of Cuellar and he pulled out a victory. In this year's primary, Cuellar was unopposed. He is a very stubborn guy who will probably not withdraw and Democrats are likely going to lose this seat (there is a Libertarian running that Dems could possibly support). But, give this L to Pelosi and Jeffries.

A state examination of the office that handles criminal prosecutions in St. Louis is being delayed because auditors can’t find former Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, Missouri Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick said Monday.

Fitzpatrick said in a news release that auditors have tried for several months to contact Gardner, including trying to serve her with a subpoena. Her whereabouts remain unknown, he said.

“This is a pattern of behavior with Kim Gardner, who hasn’t shown a willingness to be transparent or accountable,” Fitzpatrick, a Republican, said in a news release. “Without question, she knows our audit is ongoing and that we want to speak with her about her time in office, but she has made no effort to comply with our requests or respond to our inquiries.”

Gardner, a Democrat first elected in 2016 to become the city’s first Black circuit attorney, resigned in May 2023. She was part of a movement of progressive prosecutors who sought diversion to mental health treatment or drug abuse treatment for low-level crimes, pledged to hold police more accountable, and sought to free inmates who were wrongfully convicted.

Fitzpatrick said his predecessor, Democrat Nicole Galloway, first sought records from Gardner’s office in 2021 as part of a citywide audit requested by the St. Louis Board of Aldermen. Fitzpatrick served a subpoena on Gardner last year that resulted in some requested documents, but not others, he said.

State auditors have reached out to Gardner’s lawyers, made daily calls to phone numbers believed to be associated with her, contacted former co-workers and made several attempts to serve her with a subpoena — all unsuccessfully, Fitzpatrick said.

Democratic Minnesota state Sen. Nicole Mitchell refused to testify Tuesday during an ethics panel regarding the burglary charge she faces for allegedly breaking into her stepmother’s home last month.

Mitchell invoked her Fifth Amendment rights and did not speak during her appearance in front of the panel, which is made up of two Democrats and two Republicans.

The panel, however, remained divided on a potential path forward regarding Mitchell’s future in the legislature following the charges.

Biden also supported Israel and then cut the arm supplies. Just because Biden verbally supported him, does not necessary mean his administration will destroy him in order to install more progressive candidate.
