How about a new thread since many of us follow this stuff that lists pool eligibility by NNAT score and/ or Cogat percentile?

132 nnat or 95% cogAT is the definition of in pool. In pool means nothing. You want the results of NNAT/COGAT + GBRS compared with acceptance. There is such a thread from last year.

What determines level 3 service? Do some of these test scores and GRBS determine this level of service or are there different criteria?

Has anyone independently verified this quoted benchmark of 132 and 95%? I can't find it on FCPS website anywhere. thx

95%? Wow, is it getting easier and easier to get into AAP? (Used to be scores in the 98- 99%.) And then people start wondering why the centers are overcrowded????

According to whom?

Our local AART (a school in Vienna) also said something similar: only 50% in-pool kids get in. Scores are only matters to make kids in-pool, which parent refer (fill up a form) is the SAME. Don't understand why FCPS wastes money and everybody's energy to have screening test.

Huh? How do YOU suggest FCPS determine AAP Center eligibility if they do NOT use a screening test?
