Please explain little league in DC

I was about to sign up my son for little league and realized we are not in the boundaries for Capitol City Little League. What are the other programs in the city? Does it matter if you are inbounds or not for young kids?
Are different leagues fundamentally run differently? Thanks for your help! |

| For Little League, boundaries do matter. There is another one near Cap City, I think it is Northwest Little League, and there is one in Bethesda too. For the non-little leagues, BCC, Koa, boundaries do not matter but they are outside of DC. |

| Northwest Little League does cover most of NW as far as I know. It's a bit unorganized (just because it needs more parent volunteers to help keep it running well), but my kids have enjoyed playing on NWLL teams. |
