African - American Students

Ok so the thread about AA students at Sidwell has me thinking. Are these problems also happening in the elementary and lower schools ie Beauvoir, Maret, GDS, WIS, and Sidwell. We are thinking about applying this year and reading about the AA students at area independent schools is making me think twice.

Any insight about the treatment of AA children (especially boys) in the lower schools would be appreciated.

We are at Norwood, and have not seen any signs of trouble in that area.
I can say that a few AA families that I knew at Maret were happy.

Ditto Beauvoir - so far so very good. Nothing I have noticed.
