OB/GYN recommendation

Hello! I am new to the DC/MD area and need a recommendation for a doctor.

I am closer to Shady Grove Hospital but may be willing to go to a different hospital for the right doctor. I have heard of Simmonds, Lakner, Gurdian, Band and Dickman (although I think the last to only do deliveries at HC).

Any thoughts? Any suggestions or advice would be great!

Love Dickman!!!! Several others in the practice are good, too (Butler, Rangnath). I have only had 2 or 3 appointments (out of at least 20 this pregnancy) that felt rushed or where the dr. was abrupt...You can try to schedule with those you like although like most practices they'll want you to rotate through...I switched from a different practice and it makes a huge difference *only* having 6 doctors vs. the 10-12 in my old practice. They encourage questions and the front desk staff is easy to work with and friendly, which is a big plus.

I highly recommend Dr. Steve Behram who has an office by Shady Grove and delivers there. There are only two doctors in the practice and both are very good.
