No. Watch the bus at Potomac. They put my very young DS on the wrong bus then yelled at my nanny when she showed up, very freaked out, after DS was not dropped at his correct bus stop. She proceeded to get hysterical .. I don't blame her. They insisted she had no right to inquire about DS (even though she was on the camp forms and identified as a person who could pick up DS --- and had just been allowed by Potomac to pick up DD who was too young for the bus and had a shorter camp day.) They basically treated my nanny like a trespasser and told her to get off their property, and that she had no right to info about my DS, while my DS was missing because of their mistake. No effort was made to listen to her or find my DS as far as we can tell. She called me at work and I called the camp office ... no answer. Called the school security number - quick answer. They quickly found DS, who had been brought back to the school by the "wrong" bus driver because thankfully DS was smart enough not to get off the bus at a wrong stop. And gave him to nanny. This was about 5 years ago. DS told me for a few years after when he thought we were in a neighborhood where "that bus went." I gather the Potomac camp was run by HS or young college kids , at least then. Country Day had the regular teachers and ponies one time a week. My kids loved that -- in fact the promise of ponies at camp got my DS potty trained when he was younger. Potomac never apologized for how they treated my nanny or for putting DS on the wrong bus. They said he had the wrong bus sticker on his shirt. Guess who puts the sticker on a 5 or 6 year old camper? Clue -- it's not the child.
