DPR Camp for 3-5 Year Olds

I'm interested in hearing about how your District Parks and Rec camp experience has been for a preschooler. If you were at a camp that had swimming, I am particularly interested in hearing about the supervision and safety. We are open to various locations, so I'm open to hearing about any DPR camp experiences for little ones.

Mine did Macomb last year for a single session. It was fine, but the kid didn't seem to love it. No swimming, but they did do a couple of field trips.

For the price it's a great deal. But don't expect it to have anything like a solid preschool program in terms of quality art, instruction, etc.

Mine did the Petworth program the summers he was 4 & 5; he's very sad to have aged out. Once a week they went to the Upshur pool; the adult/child ratio was very robust, so I felt fine about it. I seem to also recall that they only used the kiddie pool. Some good field.trips--Adventure Theatre, bowling.
