I had big plans for that jacket, jeans, swimsuit or top, but there it sits in the closet! Why?
What do your shopping failures have in commom? Fit? Comfort? Ugly print that somehow looked good in the store? |
| Usually its fit after a wash or from going shopping on a skinny day (you know after a stomach flu and you're "almost" that next size down). |
Me too, for which reason I keep the tags on for a few weeks so I can return things. |
| Denial about weight... |
Ain't no such thing as no "stomach flu" |
Yes, I know. But its a common reference to something that makes you puke or poop your brains out for 24-48hours. |
That's a stomach virus. A "flu" by definition is a respiratory illness. Just because people commonly make that mistake doesn't excuse or justify your error. |
|
Typically it is because I don't know how to make it work. It's not that there's anything wrong per se, it is that I'm not much of a stylist.
|
Oh for Christ's sake. It could also be food poisoning. We all know "stomach flu" is not influenza, however, lady, its a Beauty and Fashion forum. No one cares. |
Yup |
Oh please. Stomach flu is a commonly used term, not a scientific designation. Everyone knows this. |
| i sometimes buy something a little different from what I usually wear and then find I really don't want to wear it. Colors too bright, too tight, nothing looks good with it, etc. |
| Wow! When I buy something, I can't wait to wear it. I have nothing with the tags still still on. Do you try clothes on? I always do because different stores=different sizes. |
This is me too. Plus I'm not a good stylist. |
|
For me, it's always shoes, and always due to comfort. They seemed ok on the stroll around the shoe store, but halfway to metro on their first day out, blisters and misery. So there they sit.
