I want to make cupcakes for a bday party tomorrow. Probably vanilla/vanilla but am open to others.
What is your favorite recipe? Thanks! |

I don't know what you think about coconut, but Ina Garten's coconut cupcakes recipe is wildly delicious. I'm sure she has some vanilla/vanilla recipe out there, too. I'd go for anything from her books.

I really like Brown Eyed baker blog, I have made a lot of her desserts and dishes and they are all delicious.

That's what I thought of too when I saw the topic! Really delicious. |
| Thanks guys. I just read the article on the brown eyed baker (thanks for that link) and the recipe she posted was inspired by the vanilla/vanilla cupcakes at Baked and Wired in Georgetown. I ordered one of these there a couple months ago and I'm still thinking about it. It was the best cupcake I've ever had. So.... Thank you so much for this link! I'm going to bake these tonight! i hope they are as good as I remember!!! |
| OP again ooooh those coconut ones looks so great too. I LOVE coconut but unfortunately my husband will not touch it. Why? I have no idea! He's missing out! I'll keep that recipe on hand though. Thanks. |
If you re-read I'm pretty sure she says it is inspired by the vanilla/vanilla at GT cupcakes, although she said the B&W one was her favorite. Hopefully it still tastes more like what you're hoping for, but I wanted to point that out to temper massive disappointment if not! |

I re-read it after I saw this also after I had already made them. ha! No worries! They actually turned out really well! They are the best cupcakes I have ever made! Perfectly shaped, too.

NP here. Can I use this recipe to make a cake? Do I adapt anything other than cooking time? |
| If you read the comments under the recipe, someone else asked that question too. I think she said yes. |
