What could this mean: company advertising job on their website but its not on search engines

| What could this mean? There was a great job posted on a company's website but it was not advertised on any other popular job board (indeed/monster/simplyhired). Is this a bad sign? It is a great job and I am hoping this doesn't mean that they are just going to hire someone internally. Thanks! |

| Not necessarily a bad sign. Some companies just don't use the search engines. They may not want to pay the advertising fee and they may get plenty of applicants from the website posting alone. The company I work for never uses the search engines. |
